The Ride To COP27
The Ride to COP27, part of the Ride to 2030 Initiative, was a 30-day electric motorcycle journey across all cities in Egypt, engaging with youth through visits to schools, universities, and sports clubs. It aimed to educate participants about climate change and raise awareness about efforts to achieve the 2030 sustainability goals.
The ride culminated in Sharm El-Sheikh, where it acted as a local voice during COP27. The initiative set two Guinness World Records for:-
The Ride to COP28 aims to raise awareness about climate change and promote sustainable practice. The journey on the electric motorcycle will start from Egypt to visit Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman, ultimately ending in the UAE, where the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) is taking place.
The main focus of the ride is to engage with youth through visits to schools, universities, and sports clubs, where they will be educated about climate change and be inspired to take action towards a more sustainable future. The Ride to COP28 also aims to set a new Guinness World Record for visiting the most countries on an electric motorcycle. This is to gain more media attention and reach a broader audience to positively impact communities and contribute to a more sustainable future.
